The European Network on Noise and Health (ENNAH) wants to highlight the future research directions and policy needs in Europe. The network will focus its avtivities on noise and health, with a particular eye for the relationship between noise exposure assessment and health impacts:

• reviewing existing literature ;
• consolidating existing state of the art knowledge;
• conducting further analysis of the data in the HYENA and RANCH projects;
• identifying gaps in the evidence and future research needs .

Junior researchers in noise and health will be welcomed to join a series of  exchange activities stretching across the major centres in Europe.

The final goal is to build more complex analytical models of noise and health effects that take into account moderating factors including the joint effects of air pollution and noise.
